Sydney! Day3

In the last day, we went to the fish market in the morning

My guide book says Sydney fish market is the second largest fish market in the world, and Tsukiji fish market in Japan handles the biggest amount of fish in the world.

There are a large number of kinds of seafood, and we could eat many sort of sea food dish in the restaurant which is next to the market. The restaurant was very crowded and almost all the visitors were Chinese. 

In the Evening, we went to the Manly Beach. We used a ferry to go there. 

We enjoyed the beautiful view of Sydney city from the ferry. It took 30 minute to go to Manly beach.

There was not big city, and I really like the  calm atmosphere.However, we had not enough time to hung out all the city, because we had to catch our flight.

In the return ferry, we could see the breath taking sun set with Harvor Bridge.

Our trip was only 3 days, but it was wonderful experience and I was really satisfied with this trip.

From this Tuesday, we are going to Whitsunday islands, which include Hamilton island, Airlie beach, and white heaven beach!!! I'm really excited about our next trip, and I'm sure it will be one of the best time in my life in Australia!!

Sydney ! Day2

In the second day, we went to Paddington and Surry Hills. There are suburb near Sydney city and a lot of select shop are there.

We ate wonderful gelato at Messina Gelato. It's a popular gelato shop in Sydney. There are heaps of flavor, so it took long time to decide and we try many flavors!! 

Then, we dropped in some select shops and vintage shops, and I bought a perfume.

It is a TOCCA perfume. I couldn't choose 

one, and my boyfriend chose it. When we leave these cute town, I was surprised, because the scent is made by image of Bondi beach in Sydney!! We didn't notice about that when we bought it. Then we change distination to Bondi beach!!

 It took about 30 min from city by train and bus. It was so nice, but litte bit cold. We went there at sunset time, so the ocean view was breathtaking sight.

My guide book says that this beach is the first beach where people can swim in the buff. My host mother said that a lot of celebrities come to this beach to chill out.

 

Sydney ! day 1

At the last session break, I went to Sydney for 3 days with my BF. It was the first time to travel to New South Wales, so I was so excited, and my parents have been there as a honeymoon, so they were also excited.

 I arrived at Sydney airport at 9 am. In Sydney, Opal card is used to pay fare of almost all the transportation(it is like a go card), so we bought it at the airport. 

We went to the city, and went to QueenVictoriaBuilding. It is a historic department store, and it was built in1898. The interior design is classic style and it is like a parece.

Unfortunately, it was too early, so we couldn't enter any shops ; (

After looking QVB, we enjoyed shopping. There are a lot of shops which are not in Brisbane. 

Then, we went to some markets by the horbor. It was Sunday, so there are many markets in Sydney. We ate some food, but I think especially German hotdog was the best!! 

After that, we went to the Opera house !! It was very beautiful. However, it was windy and cold!! Haha

Our flight was 7:10-8:45 , so we were really tired. Then we went to our hotel, and slept about 1hour. The hotel is located close to city (it takes less than 10 minutes to go to the city on foot), so it was convince. And the day was our 3 months anniversary, so he gave a surprise gift for me ! 

When we went shopping, I wondered if I buy this, so I was really surprised !!

In the evening, we went for a walk by the harbor which is called Darling Harvor.

There are a museum,an aquarium and a lot of cafes, so there were lively. It was sunset time, so the view was lovely. 

Our hotel has a nice kitchen, then I cooked our dinner. I didn't cook for a long time, but it was delicious and my BF liked it : )

IELTS & a party

Last Saturday, we had an IELTS test.

It was the last chance to get the score in order to go to the uni. It was the first time to take IELTS in Australia.

The night before the test, I noticed that I did not have pencils. I have only propelling pencils. In Japan, we can use only pencils, but propelling one. Then I felt nervous about that, I ask my friends to borrow me some pencils. However, they said we could use propelling pencils in Australia. I was surprised.

On Saturday morning, I was surprised and felt nervous again. When I arrived uni, all my friends knew their class, but I didn't. They said I must have checked my e-mail to get the information. In Japan, there are only one room to take the test and we don't have to do that. 

I thought I should be more careful.

After the test, I joined a party which was held by Tabaco-kun. I appreciate him to held the party very much, because we enjoyed it, and it was a good opportunity to know each other! We went to a Japanese restaurant called "Taiko" it was rely good restaurant.and I want to go there again!

Second session

1week ago, the second session ended. During this session,I experienced a heaps of things.

I joined ILLUMI RUN with my friends on May 5. It was awesome 😆🎨💡I want to run again !

The business class hold THE BIGGEST MORNING TEA. It was held in order to raise money for donation of cancer. We bought a ticket (it was $5) and enjoyed the time. Teachers made a lot of muffins and we could eat these. We also could play some games.

In the afternoon, Natt sang some songs ! She is really beautiful and her song was wonderful.

At the end of May, I went to the SEA WORLD with my BF. There were various kinds of sea creatures. The sea lion show  was really fun, because the sea lion acted as if he is a human. If you have never been to there, you should go there!

The first month in Brisbane

1month have passed since I came to Brisbane !

My host family is really kind to me :-)

And my room is stylish. I like this home very much.

In ICTE, there are many people from various countries. So I could make a lot of friends and I have a good opportunity to use English. 

My English skill is improving little by little.
